This is the biggest piece I have created for my Mosaic Energy Series. Using a multitude of custom made paints I mixed over the 6 months, I decided to create a big piece showing my color palette.
Customized colors using pigment powders mixed with an acrylic base, glass beading and polymer resin.
My memories of Mediterranean mosaics imbue spiritual energy. The series' inspiration deals more with color combinations than actual physical form. In essence, I yearn to capture the spiritual emotions derived from prayer and meditation.
